Formerly known as Jarden Zinc, ARTAZN is one of the world's oldest and largest producers of solid zinc strip and zinc products and the largest in all of North America. We create solutions for the automotive, architectural, building, cathodic protection, and specialty industries globally. And for the past 130+ years, our legacy of zinc manufacturing and innovation has challenged us to be the best in all areas: as leaders, as craftspeople, and as partners.
ARTAZN is headquartered in Greeneville, Tennessee, with a manufacturing space of 350,000 square feet (32,616 meters). It is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and IATF 16949:2016 to ensure the highest quality and environmental standards for its products and services.

OUR HISTORY
Even in 1880, the year our roots took hold, manufacturing excellence and innovation were on the minds of our founders. Today, almost a century and a half later, our teams are motivated by the same need for growth. We process roughly 10 million pounds of zinc every month. And as one of the leading coin blank manufacturers, we're responsible for 300 billion coins circulating in more than 20 countries. Travel back in time to imagine how far we have yet to go.

The beginning of a family affair.

An empire evolves.
The first external sale of zinc and zinc products begins, including exports to South African gold mining refineries.
1934
Local becomes global.
Expands zinc mill to become the largest strip rolling mill in the world: Muncie, Ind.
1960
The start of a family legacy.
The company's name is changed to the Ball Corporation.
1970
A new home in the mountains of Tennessee.
The Greeneville, Tennessee headquarters opens. The zinc products facility adds zinc manufacturing capabilities.
